Template:New Content Template:Weapon Infobox The MA5D Individual Combat Weapon System (ICWS) is a gas-operated assault rifle that serves as the standard-issue service rifle of the UNSC Navy and Marine Corps.[1] It is a successor to the MA5C variant used during the final years of the Human-Covenant War and was in use as of summer 2557. Like the rest of the MA5 Series, the MA5D is designed and manufactured by Misriah Armory.[1]

Design details
The MA5D is noted as being exeptionally resilient, having been designed for efficient use in close-quarters combat despite any hostile counter-op, enviromental conditions, or the duration of the weapon's use in the field[2].
