Arrow of Time is a specialised variant of the SRS99-S5 AM sniper rifle developed by Misriah Armory.[6]
Overview[edit]
Design details[edit]
- Main article: SRS99-S5 AM sniper rifle
Outwardly, Arrow of Time bears few visual differences from the standard Series 5 sniper rifle; its most prominent change is a series of white, red-and-green stripes painted atop the body of the weapon alongside a decal of an eagle's head on the stock.[7] The weapon's performance characteristics are slightly different from the standard Series 5; the weapon has an extended magazine, increased recoil, but features a heavy-duty cyberlink on its Oracle-R scope that prevents the weapon from de-scoping when the operator is fired upon.[6]
Usage[edit]
In late 2558, Spartan-IVs serving aboard the UNSC Infinity trained with the Arrow of Time in War Games simulations.[7]

Notes[edit]
- ^ The tick marks on the SRS99-S5 AM's smart-linked scope range between 0 and 2,300 meters. This presumably reflects the weapon's maximum effective range.
