The M910 Rampart point defense network is a point defense system utilized by the UNSC Navy on its warships. They are primarily used to shoot down fighters and missiles. The UNSC Pillar of Autumn was equipped with eighteen M910 guns.[2] The Autumn-class heavy cruiser is equipped with six M910 point defense guns.[3]
Usage
M910s attached to the Pillar of Autumn were utilised to great effect during the Battle of Installation 04. During the space battle over the installation, several guns were manned by the ODSTs of Fireteam Raven and used to fend off several waves of Banshees and Seraphs.[1] Following the vessel's crash-landing on the Installation, several of these guns were recovered by retrieval forces led by Lieutenant Melissa McKay and put to use in the defense of the newly-established Alpha Base as static defenses.[4][5]
