Hello Halopedians, other Halo lore fans, and folks interested in the workings of Halo Infinites manufacturer system.

The fast breakdown

To quickly break it down there is 4 kinds of manufacturers listed in Halo Infinite.

The fictional kind, these are groups and companies that exist in the Halo Universe.
Group based, these are more groups that the manufacturer make stuff for, or are affiliated with. These are also often used for manufacturers that don't have an icon in Halo Infinite yet.
Non-canon, these are manufacturers that are used to notate something is not part of the universe.
Fracture - Non-canon, these are manufacturers that are linked together under a common theme.

Group based

Group based manufacturers are manufacturers based around the faction in question, and isn't a "real" manufacturer. This in layman's terms, doesn't explicitly mean that the faction outright makes all these items, but that the items and groups that make them are commonly associated with the faction. This could range from groups in the faction making the items in question (UNSC - Manufacturers, Banished - Workshops, Flood - Infection), to an independent manufacturer or group making the items.

Often it is quite clear when another manufacturer or group is involved; for example, Venezia groups that make use of stolen technology to make their items are often grouped into the Banished manufacturer, with several descriptions showing the link. Other times, the connection is more loose like the "Reavian Werewolf" shoulders, these hold no indicators who made it bar that it is associated with the UNSC.

Various technology created on the UNSC Spirit of Fire is listed under this manufacturer. (Examples: Ardent, TAS/FES/BRONTES, and UA/NERA-SOFAS) Various CMA items are listed under this manufacturer. (Example: UA/CMA SN5 TYPE 11) The HRN created M99A2S3 Stanchion is listed under this manufacturer.	This manufacturer and the 343 Industries one have a lot of overlap.
Banished	The Banished manufacturer often groups together technology created for or by the Banished Workshops; or is technology created by groups affiliated to the Banished.	Various items created by groups on Venezia for their jannissaries are listed under this. (Examples: BOGGART, ASSAILER, and Red, Blue, and White steel.)
The Flood	These are largely pre-existing items that are infected by the Flood, or are Flood biomass itself.	This is plainly just anything infected by the Flood, nothing more to say on this matter.
