'''Group based manufacturers''' are manufacturers based around the faction in question, and isn't a "real" manufacturer. This in layman's terms, doesn't explicitly mean that the faction outright makes all these items, but that the items and groups that make them are commonly associated with the faction. This could range from groups in the faction making the items in question {{C|UNSC - Manufacturers, Banished - Workshops, Flood - Infection}}, to an independent manufacturer or group making the items.
Often it is quite clear when another manufacturer or group is involved; for example, [[Venezia]] groups that make use of stolen technology to make their items are often grouped into the Banished manufacturer, with several descriptions showing the link. Other times, the connection is more loose like the "Reavian Werewolf" shoulders, these hold no indicators who made it bar that it is associated with the UNSC.
