Bannix was a Jiralhanae Screecleaver and Commander in service of the Banished. During the Installation 07 conflict in 2560, he served as the commander of the Armory of Reckoning.[1][2][3]

Biography[edit]

At some point during the Installation 07 conflict, there was a meat shortage at the Armory of Reckoning.[4] This caused six of Bannix's subordinate Jiralhanae to stage a coup in an attempt to overthrow Bannix. Although Bannix managed to put down this coup, Escharum sent a threatening message, warning Bannix to get his troops in order, or he would be replaced by a someone that could maintain discipline. Following this message, Bannix decreed any who participated in infighting and insubordination would be executed.[1][3]

It was likely that Bannix was killed when the Master Chief launched an attack on the Armory of Reckoning and shut down the facility.[5]

List of appearances[edit]

Notes[edit]

  1. ^ Although their species is not confirmed, Bannix is likely a Jiralhanae due to their naming scheme.
  2. ^ Though not explicitly stated, it is implied that Bannix is in charge of Myklo Regiment. The Unggoy Bingflip was part of Myklo Regiment and stationed at the Armory of Reckoning, of which Bannix was in charge.
