Tactical packages are gameplay enhancements featured in Halo 4.
Overview[edit]
Tactical packages are software updates for the MJOLNIR [GEN2] armor that increase a Spartan's combat readiness and responsiveness. They can be accessed through each loadout either before a match is started or during a player's respawn time.

The Resistor tactical package was released alongside the Survivor support upgrade as a free update for all Halo 4 players on August 19, 2013 - one day prior to the release of the Champions Bundle.[10] Due to it being implemented after the game's launch, neither armor mod (nor any of the other Champions Bundle content such as the Steel Skin Pack or Infinity Armor Pack) were available for use in Spartan Ops - if the player has them equipped in their loadout, the game simply reverts back to "None".
For similar reasons, none of the Champions Bundle content was included in Halo: The Master Chief Collection at launch in 2014.
