Battle of Netherop

Main article: Battle of Netherop (2559)

In November 2559, during the Cortana's reign over the galaxy, Marchalwas a part of a mission organized by Spartan Olympia Vale that was deployed to the world of Netherop aboard the Point Blank-class prowler UNSC Hidden Point. Their aim was to recover the Divine Hand, a weapon that could be used to destroy Cortana's Guardian Cutodes. Chudzik and Marchal deployed towards the surface of the planet ahead of the main insertion force of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, piloting their Owl insertion craft and carrying Vale, Gunnery Sergeant Grim Bear, Keely Iyuska, Rosa Fuertes, and the fourteen ODSTs that comprised Tango Team. During their descent, the Divine Hand was fired by Nizat 'Kvarosee and the Defenders of the Sanctum, destroying the 40 Pelican dropships deploying behind the Owl. The craft lost power during the firing and fell towards the surface, but the pilots were able to restore power and get their contingent to the surface without further issue.[1] The pilots deployed the force at the summit of the tel were the weapon had fired then landed the Owl about a kilometer away, concealing it and keeping tabs on the tel and the surrounding crater.[2] The Owl returned later after the Defenders of the Sanctum had been defeated and the Divine Hand had been turned over to a Banished insertion force led by Atriox, ferrying the remaining forces off of the planet to a flight of D81-LRT Condors that had escaped the destruction of the Hidden Point and would allow the force to leave the system.[3]
