The Polona Sector[1][2] is a sector of human space in the Outer Colonies. The Igdras system, the Kolaqoa system, the Ephyra system,[3] and the Qusdar system[4] were within the sector.
At least part of the Polona sector overlaps with the Sangheili Out Sectors.[5]

Human-Covenant War[edit]

In 2526, when the Covenant first invaded human space, their forces were primarily in the Polona, Grenadi, and Vevina sectors.[6] Numerous battles that year took place in the Polona sector including the Battle of Biko, Battle of Seoba, Battle of Mesra and the Battle of Netherop.

In 2559, the Igdras system in the Polona sector was the site of a Trisector Command Node managed by High Auxiliary Sloan.[7]
