Trisector Command Node
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
Trisector Command Nodes are a concept used by the Created for dividing up the space in their brief imperial control over the Milky Way galaxy. Once such node was located in the Igdras system of the Polona sector, and was overseen by High Auxiliary Sloan. The node was situated in the borderlands between the Outer Colonies of humanity and the former-protectorate Out Sectors of the Covenant empire, and was served by observation stations in surrounding sectors such as the Grenadi sector.[1][2]
In late 2559, observations of Sangheili warship movements from the Grenadi and Polona sectors convinced Sloan of the need to dispatch Created military forces to Netherop to prevent the species of the galaxy from uncovering the Divine Hand. As such, Sloan had to make his case to Kathara, Six Sector Fleet Overseer in the Zamaru system. While she was initially hesitant to dispatch warships to Netherop, the arrival of an Acolyte-class harrier reporting the Divine Hand's activation persuaded her to dispatch Long Reverence, a Fortress-class vessel.[1]
Following the Severence of the Created artificial intelligences from the Domain, Sloan lost control of his Trisector Command Node.[2]
