High Auxiliary

Sloan, High Auxiliary of the Created.

High Auxiliary is a title used by select Smart AIs of the Created - most notably Sloan, a former-lieutenant of Archon Cortana and now an independent warlord.

While originally the elected planetary governor of Meridian, Sloan renounced that title and his connection with Meridian's colonial population when he joined up with Cortana and the Created. In doing so, he ascended to the title of High Auxiliary. As High Auxiliary, Sloan was charged with overseeing the Trisector Command Node in the Igdras system; located in the Polona sector, the node bridged the overlapping Outer Colonies of humanity and the Out Sectors of the Covenant empire. Despite being considered capable enough to be given such an immense task, the position did not allow Sloan to direct the movement of Created military assets, and as such, Sloan had to petition the Six Sector Fleet Overseer Kathara permission to move warships to new targets.

After the Created's downfall, Sloan retained the High Auxiliary title though now with the authority to act completely independently. As such, he began to put the FIREWALL contingency into effect, resulting in the creation of the first of the Executors.
