End of the Line is a specialised variant of the SRS99-S5 AM sniper rifle developed by Misriah Armory.[6]
Overview
Design details
- Main article: SRS99-S5 AM sniper rifle
Outwardly, End of the Line bears few visual differences from the standard Series 5 sniper rifle; its most prominent change is a series of red-and-green stripes painted atop the body of the weapon alongside a decal of an eagle's head on the stock.[7] The weapon's performance characteristics are slightly different from the standard Series 5, and are instead reminiscent of the Flexfire variant of the Series 7 sniper rifle; the weapon has reduced recoil and higher rate-of-fire at the cost of lower damage to the target. This makes the weapon more suitable for suppression fire.[6]
Usage
In late 2558, Spartan-IVs serving aboard the UNSC Infinity trained with the End of the Line in War Games simulations.[7]

Notes
- ^ The tick marks on the SRS99-S5 AM's smart-linked scope range between 0 and 2,300 meters. This presumably reflects the weapon's maximum effective range.
