Template:Newcontent Socket Bases[1] are base structures in Halo Wars and Halo Wars 2 that players are able to build and upgrade, depending on how much supplies and energy they have at their disposal. "Sockets" are referred to as "slots" in Halo Wars 2.[2] The bases and their buildings are essential to produce troops, vehicles, and all sorts of upgrades in both campaign and multiplayer.
