The Battle of New Constantinople was an engagement on New Constantinople between the United Nations Space Command and the Covenant, during the Human-Covenant War in early 2537.[2] Danforth Whitcomb distinguished himself in the battles for New Constantinople.[4]
The SPARTAN-III program's Alpha Company highly distinguished themselves for their actions at New Constantinople,[1][3] undertaking Operation: IRON GREAVE.[5] The actions of Hazel-A302 during this battle caught the eyes of Whitcomb's advisors.[6]
