Special Weapons And Tactics, often abbreviated to SWAT, are specialized units in human law enforcement agencies which are trained to perform dangerous and high-risk operations. These can include serving high-risk arrest warrants, performing hostage rescue and armed intervention, preventing terrorist attacks, and engaging heavily-armed criminals. SWAT teams are equipped with specialized firearms including assault rifles, submachine guns, shotguns, carbines, riot control agents, stun grenades, and high-powered rifles for marksmen. They often have specialized equipment including heavy body armor, entry tools, armored vehicles, and night vision optics.[1]
Known departments
The only known SWAT departments are a SWAT unit on Harvest, of which Jerald Mulkey Ander was a Major in,[1] and the SWAT department of the New Mombasa Police Department.[2]
