I went into the page to request a username change, and I followed the steps, but I think I did something wrong, because it looks different than all the other requests. Could you tell me how to lay it out correctly please? Thanks.
The notification and sidebar code worked! Thank you so much again!
Thank you so much! I will definitely look through this to see if it will help me
Hello, this isn't really a question about Halopedia or Halo, Im just trying to get some advice and some questions answered for developing a site that uses MediaWiki as well as the Nimbus skin (just like Halopedia does). The url is here: wwii-archives.org/index.php/WWII_Archives:Home. As can be seen I have been modifying the skin to my needs, but have a few questions that haven't gone answered. The first is how do you add the navigation and alert buttons? By default the Nimbus skin has some code for it but you can't see it even if you're logged in. The second question you don't necessarily have to answer, but ill post it anyway, as it was posted to the Nimbus skin discussion page but never answered:
I am trying to edit the Nimbus skin on my mediawiki to try and suit its needs, and was trying to modify the navigation dropdown to replace and add some pages listed to it. I also wanted to create multiple dropdowns as well after that. However I scanned through the different js, css, and php files to try and find where the list of page links in the dropdown are listed but couldn't find any, all I really could find was its activation and styling in NimbusTemplate.php and Nimbus.css. Menu.js doesn't really help as it just provides the framework of how the dropdown functions but not the list of links. Any info would be gratefully received.
Thanks in advance
