Kenya, officially the Republic of Kenya, is a country in Eastern Africa. It is bordered by Ethiopia to the north, Somalia to the northeast, Tanzania to the south, Uganda to the west, and Sudan to the northwest, with the Indian Ocean running along the southeast border. Its capital city is Nairobi, with another prominent city being Mombasa due to the presence of one of Earth's space elevators there. Kenya is a part of the East African Protectorate.

History

Early history

Circa 97,445 BCE, the Forerunners built a slipspace portal leading to Installation 00 outside of the Milky Way galaxy, in what would later become Kenya. Around the same time, a human elder known as N'chala and his tribe lived nearby, observing the Portal's construction.
