MoR armor and Noble Team[edit]
Well I have to say. While in real life the armor might be based off Noble team. In-universe its not stated to be so for many of the armor. So I feel its best to keep the based off line in trivia.
I mean while the armor looks really similar to Noble teams variants we can only put it as a coincidence in-universe. Unless stated like Juns vip variant. -CIA391 (talk) 20:29, 8 May 2016 (EDT)
I agree, until it is stated somewhere else in-universe, it should be in trivia. Alertfiend - Warning, my comments may appear passive aggressive. (Converse) 20:47, 8 May 2016 (EDT)
- I think it's less of a stretch to assume the sets are based on Noble Team's armors in-universe than to assume they are not. I don't think it's very plausible that the UNSC would produce exact replicas of their armor configurations completely fortuitously, doubly so for Emile's visor carving. There's also this quote from the latest Canon Fodder:
- "As research and development on the Mjolnir powered assault armor continued to evolve, many of the suits employed before and during the fall of Reach saw continual refinement and upgrades as a part of the Ordnance Committee’s commitment to rapid spiral development. After the development and rollout of the first GEN2 Mjolnir weapon systems, battle-proven Mk. IV and Mk. V variants were eventually earmarked for reassessment at the request of veteran Spartan II and Spartan III operatives."
- It doesn't identify Noble Team by name, but "many of the suits employed before and during the fall of Reach" doesn't leave it very vague what it's referring to. I don't think it's meant to be a coincidence either that the names of these variants clearly refer to each Noble Team member's characteristics. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 23:57, 8 May 2016 (EDT)
