This needs to be a three way war!--JohnSpartan117 07:26, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- I fought so aswell. An army from a corporation or something like that would be unlikely to joinforces with communists. -Forerunner 16:35, 09/01/07
Futuristic version of World War II[edit]
I think the Interplanetary War was meant to be like a futuristic version of World War II. The Allies (UN/Allies) fought against the Communists (Koslovics) and Nazi-Fascists (Frieden) all over human-controlled space (the Solar System). --UNSC Trooper File:unsctrooper_small.jpg|14px]] TalkMy Work 18:52, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- That makes sense. --Dragonclaws(talk) 18:59, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Can we really use that image for the Interplanatary War? I doubt that Pelicans were around then and I REALLY doubt that humans were using energy weaponry to down them. As far as I can tell, it's just a case of Ensemble making their timeline 'pretty' and it's a scene from the Human-Covenant war.--Hawki 02:10, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Haha, I know. That's exactly what I thought when I put it here. There's no way Pelicans would have been around 400 years ago. And the energy beam is out of the ordinary too. Maybe we should contact Ensemble and tell them about it, perhaps they'll do something to fix it. --UNSC Trooper File:unsctrooper_small.jpg|14px]] TalkMy Work 15:47, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
Actually, I don't think they meant it to represent the war. It's just a Human-Covenant War image used to make it pretty, without any bearing on this one.--Hawki 19:57, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
do you think that the pelican design is that old? posible just down grade the fuel, little paint some glitter? DeadReanimation 21:04, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Amendmant to the timeline[edit]
Well, Halo Encyclopaedia (Page 33) shows a rather different version of the Interplanetary War. They are as the following:
Jovian Moons Campaign (2160) ↓ The Rainforest War (2162) ↓ The Mars Campaign (2163) ↓ The Interplanetary War (2164-2170) |
I'll make the fixes right now.- Sketchist 01:22, June 6, 2010 (UTC)
- It does seem odd that the entire conflict (2160-2170) isn't called the "Interplanetary War"; before 2164, it wasn't any less "interplanetary". The war had been going on in the Sol system from 2160 to 2164 just as much, so why label them as separate conflicts?--Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 21:23, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
