Infused mine
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
The infused mine, also known as corruption mine,[1] is a type of landmine developed and employed by Voridus in the Banished.[2] Infused mines are deployed from orbit to the ground. When deployed, the infused mine is cloaked, and detonates when enemies are detected nearby. Upon detonation, the mine releases a pool of infusion gel in the surrounding area.[3] Given it shares the same casing, it is likely derived from the plasma mine.
Gameplay[edit]

- Infused Mine II
In Halo Wars 2, Infused Mine is a leader power exclusive to Voridus. When activated, a mine is deployed to the targeted location. The mine is cloaked shortly after being deployed, and will detonates when enemy ground units enter its proximity. The explosion damages nearby enemy units, then creates an infusion pool in the area (lasting 70 seconds, then 90 seconds when upgraded); enemy ground units in the pool have slower movement and take damage over time. Even if the mine is destroyed, it still creates an infusion pool. In Blitz, Infused Mine is exclusive to Voridus and costs 50 energy.
