Overview[edit]

Design details[edit]

Main article: Kelos'vaarda-pattern storm rifle

Blissful Slumber has a visual appearance almost identical to that of the regular Storm Rifle, save for its red carapace with yellow/white accent details. It fires explosive plasma rounds, making it a more formidable weapon for use against light vehicles.[5]

In-game information[edit]

Halo 5: Guardians[edit]

Main article: Storm Rifle (gameplay)

Blissful Slumber is featured in Halo 5: Guardians as a REQ variant of the Storm Rifle. It is one of two such variants in the game, the other being Fury. Its in-game REQ card is a Rare REQ card worth REQ Points 100 when sold, and costs 3 energy to call in.

When fired, Blissful Slumber fires projectiles that are affected by gravity and arc downward over time. Each bolt detonates on impact, causing a small secondary explosion with a damage radius of 2.75 meters (9.0 ft).
