Ages of Doubt
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
Covenant history
The Ages of Doubt was the sixth Age in the Covenant Age system.[1][2] Ages of Doubt centered around dealing with the fallout of chaotic events in Covenant history.[3]
Overview[edit]
During the Progression of the Ages, the Ages of Doubt are represented by a black opal stone.[4] In the ritual, the appropriate dialogue is as followed:[1]
Leader, or Chieftain: Doubt.
Congregation, or Pack: Sixth! Faith and patience!
Events[edit]
Eighteenth Age of Doubt[edit]
- During the Eighteenth Age of Doubt, the Ruma-pattern light carrier was introduced into active service with the Covenant fleet.[5]
Twenty-Third Age of Doubt (2462–2525)[edit]
- The Rasus-pattern interdictor was first produced during the Twenty-Third Age of Doubt, with a single ship-of-the-line commissioned - Heaven's Brilliant Bier.[6]
- The Twenty-Third Age of Doubt followed the Thirty-Ninth Age of Conflict[3] in 2462,[7] in which the Unggoy Rebellion threatened the stability of the Covenant.[3] This age was followed by the Ninth Age of Reclamation in 2525.[8]
Trivia[edit]
In Halo Wars, when playing as the Covenant, players can upgrade their Temple by researching the Age of Doubt, improving all Covenant technology by 1. Advancing to the Age of Doubt also gives Covenant players the ability to make Shua'ee-pattern Locusts, Bkowe'nei-pattern Vampires, and many other types of units.
