- The human colony of Sargasso in the Portland system is invaded by Covenant forces.[1] The Type-46 Infantry Support Vehicle is first encountered by United Nations Space Command personnel during the battle.[2]

- Led by Edward Buck, Alpha-Nine conducts a military operation against the Covenant on the colony of Sargasso.[3]

- The human colony of Camber in the Farwatch system is glassed by the Covenant.[4]
- The human colony of New Llanelli in the Brunel system is attacked by the Covenant, who are victorious and glass the planet.[5][1]
- The human colony of Sansar in the Sweorice system is glassed by the Covenant.[1]
- Lydus, a Jiralhanae Chieftain, is recorded to have left the Oth Sonin system for the first time.[6]
