Waypoint is a UNSC-controlled news source and interstellar message delivery service for civilians. Part of the UNSC's interstellar communication network,[1] Waypoint includes prominent public news channels,[2] such as Waypoint Nine.[3] It also serves as the primary delivery service for mail across interstellar distances.[1]

- The name of the in-universe Waypoint service is likely a reference to Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries's online portal for Halo content.
