The UNSC Persephone was a destroyer in the UNSC Navy in-commission during the Insurrection.[1]

History

While on patrol in 2521, an insurrectionist hacked into the destroyer's systems and disabled her. Persephone's captain ordered their crew to overload the reactors, in order to prevent capture, and subsequently abandoned ship.

Production notes

  • The ship's namesake is presumably Persephone, the queen of the underworld and daughter of Zeus from Greek mythology.
  • In the French edition of Dr. Halsey's personal journal, Persephone is noted in the text as a cruiser instead of a destroyer as it is in the English edition.
