The UNSC Musashi was a carrier-type vessel in service with the UNSC Navy during the Human-Covenant War.

Background

The Musashi was one of the hundreds of ships that was present at the Battle of Reach. It was destroyed while moving to cover the Orbital Defense Platforms, when an Energy Projector from a Covenant "Supercruiser" severed the Musashi amidships. The aft section's engines were still burning even after it was severed from the rest of the ship [1].
