Template:Planet New Llanelli, referred to by the Covenant as Laqil[1], was a human colony world located in the Brunel system formerly governed by the United Earth Government.[2] In 2546[3] during the Human-Covenant War, this colony was invaded and later glassed by the Covenant Navy.[2] One man survived the glassing and lived on the planet until 2553 when he was rescued.

Trivia

It was named after the Welsh town of Llanelli in the United Kingdom on Earth.
