The supercruiser is approximately 3.5 kilometers in length, over three times that of the UNSC Marathon. They are durable enough to withstand one nuclear mine detonation, or even three Magnetic Accelerator Cannon rounds and nearly five hundred Archer missile impacts. However, they are more vulnerable to larger-scale MAC weaponry, as the only known supercruiser used a hit-and-run tactic to avoid fire from the planet Reach's Orbital Defense Platforms' "Super" MACs.

The Autumn then launched a remote-controlled Longsword armed with a Shiva missile, which impacted the ship while its energy shields were in the process of recharging. The explosion was contained by the newly-regenerated shields, multiplying the destructive blast exponentially. During the battle, the supercruiser hit the Autumn twice with its main weapon, but due to the Autumn's design and the tactics of its captain and AI, the ship survived, albeit badly damaged.

Weapons
Like many other Covenant vessels, the supercruiser possesses several energy projectors, which it can use to slice through enemy vessels and (presumably) engage in glassing operations.

Complement
Given its gigantic size, (second only to the assault carrier and supercarrier), it is likely able to carry hundreds of Seraph-class starfighters and dropships. Moreover, it probably carries large numbers of ground vehicles and troops, possibly entire legions.

This unidentified warship class is one of the most powerful vessels used by the Covenant. The vessel has three times the mass of a CCS-class battlecruiser[1] and is large enough to stand out among a fleet containing hundreds of ships. It is armed with a prow-mounted turret containing five energy projectors, a configuration that had not been witnessed prior to the Fall of Reach,[2] as well as another pod-shaped turret mounted on its dorsal surface.[1] The ship is capable of withstanding several Magnetic Accelerator Cannon rounds and hundreds of M58 Archer missiles.[3]

Operational history

The only such vessel known to have been encountered by the UNSC was present at the Fall of Reach on August 30, 2552, where it served as a secondary flagship for the Fleet of Particular Justice. During the battle, it remained outside the range of the planet's orbital defense platforms and destroyed many UNSC ships, including the Musashi, the Minotaur and the Herodotus.[4] Soon, the Template:UNSCship used its upgraded MAC and over 500 Archer missiles to drop the ship's shields and damage the hull. The Pillar of Autumn then launched a remote-controlled GA-TL1 Longsword armed with a Shiva-class nuclear missile, which impacted the ship while its energy shields were recharging. The explosion was contained by the newly regenerated shields, multiplying the destructive blast exponentially.[3]
