Kamchatka

Kamchatka is a planet that was once colonized by the Forerunner ecumene prior to the firing of the Halo Array. The Stormbreak mountain range, considered to be "the broken spine" of Kamchatka, was mended by the Forerunners. By the middle of the 26th century, Kamchatka was discovered by the United Nations Space Command. The UNSC intended to establish a military complex and power station to control the planet's Forerunner sites, shortly after Kamchatka's discovery.[1]
