Impulse Drives are propulsion systems used by Covenant Type-31 "Seraph"-class Starfighters and Type-27 XMF. Impulsive drives appear to be capable of short slipspace jumps.[1]
Trivia
- In Conversations from the Universe, 343 Guilty Spark mentions "impulse propulsion", perhaps implying that the Forerunners possessed similar impulse technology.[2]
