The Igdras system, known to the Covenant as the Illa system,[2] is a planetary system within the Polona sector[1][3] of the Milky Way galaxy. The system has at least one planet, a human Outer Colony called Etalan.[4]

History
In 2456, Humanity established the colony Etalan in the system.[5]
Etalan was attacked and glassed by the Covenant in early 2526,[2] and it saw another engagement a few weeks later when a detachment from UNSC Navy's Task Force Yama targeted logistics vessels left behind by the Fleet of Inexorable Obedience.[4]
During the Created uprising, the Igdras system was made the seat of High Auxiliary Sloan and the Trisector Command Node he managed. While in this post, Sloan noted the Igdras system's position as bordering human Outer Colonies and the outer protectorates of the Covenant empire.[3]
