The GUA-23/AW/Linkless Feed Autocannon is a weapon used by the UNSC Marine Corps, mounted on Hawk and Vulture VTOL gunships. It was capable of engaging a number of enemy units of various types, ranging from infantry, to armored vehicles and aircraft.[1] The autocannon fires 30mm rounds.[2] The Vulture heavy gunship mounted version which uses a .50 caliber round that is heavier than the Hawk's ammunition.[3]
