Template:Rank Infobox Ensign is a junior commissioned officer rank of the UNSC Navy. It is the lowest commissioned officer rank, and is equal in rank to Second Lieutenant in the UNSC Marine Corps. He served on the UNSC Frigate Gorgon for four years.Thats when he was promoted to First Lieutenant. By the time there were no more Outer Colonies since they were all destroyed by the Covenant and they were pushing inward towards the Inner Colonies. In his academy picture he looked ten years yonger. He had neatly trimmed jet-black hair, a toothy grin, and sparkling green eyes. He was suppose to be watching for Pirates, Black Market Traders and the Covenant. His station never llaunched one single probe silhouette. Thats why he requested a "Dead End" assignment. Thinking it's safe.
