The Covenant Special Operations was the specialized operations branch of the Covenant Army, a subgroup of the Covenant Special Warfare Group.

Overview

The Covenant Special Operations of the Special Warfare Group was established by the Covenant Army for the execution of specialized operations. Personnels within this group are regarded as skilled warriors of the Covenant Empire, sent in to accomplish the most covert and dangerous operations.[1][2]

The Special Operations objectives cover sabotaging of enemy installations and supply lines, assassinations and retrieval of holy artifacts, although it was an extremely versatile group of performing low-risk sentry or defense operations.[3]
