The Arctic Beast is a mammalian creature that has appeared in the concept art for Halo Wars.
It is furry and white with large horns curving around its head. It looks vaguely similar and comparable to the Wampa snow monster from The Empire Strikes Back and the Reek in "Attack of the Clones" in Star Wars, except smaller and is on all four legs while the Wampa is often seen in a bipedal stance (They walk on all fours when hunting).
