History
Rise of humanity
Capella was colonized in 2420.[1]
Insurrection
Capella was the site of the Skirmish at Capella between the UNSC Gorgon and insurrectionist forces in May 2502. The skirmish resulted in the deaths of thirty-two crew members of the Gorgon and damages which required a month laid up in space dock to repair.[2]
Human-Covenant war
During the Human-Covenant War on October 21, 2526, the Alpha Aurigae system was invaded by the Covenant.[3] Capella was attacked, though it wasn't glassed.[1]
Government and society
Economy
Preston Cole was known to occasionally enjoy vodka produced on the colony.[2]
