- Thrust assemblies are replaced on the UNSC Spirit of Fire from the scuttled UNSC destroyer Calcutta.[5]
- SPARTAN-II Blue Team shuts down the United Rebel Front's Station Jefferson in the Eridanus system.[6]

- October 20: Michael "Mickey" Crespo is born in Crisium City, Naniwa, on Luna.
- November: James Cutter, captain of UNSC Spirit of Fire, decided to give his executive officer, Terrence Hood, command of the UNSC Roman Blue.[12]
- December 24: The Battle of Groombridge-1830 takes place, resulting in a costly UNSC victory.
- December 25: Subject 386 is interrogated by Fleet Admiral Preston Cole and First Lieutenant Richard Lionel Barclay. The interrogation is recorded by the AI Solipsil.[13]
