AMX-42[1] is speculated to be a UNSC close air support group. Its only appearance is on the wing of Pelicans.
Background
Little is known of this unit other than that they fought during the UNSC's largest battle, the Fall of Reach. also AMX-4 is on the wing of the falcon this could make them in the same group
