Thirteen dead Spartans

This unknown SPARTAN unit served during the final stages of the Fall of Reach in 2552 at the battle for Aszod. The unit consisted of thirteen members, all wearing variations of the MJOLNIR Mark V. It is unknown whether this team was composed of SPARTAN-IIs or SPARTAN-IIIs, or both. It is also unknown as to what their mission was, but it can be presumed that they were deployed to fend off the Covenant attack on the Aszod territory near the ship breaking facilities.[1]
Trivia
- During the level Lone Wolf in Halo: Reach, the thirteen dead SPARTANs can be found in various locations in the playing area. These SPARTANs are all wearing armor with randomly generated colors and configurations.
- The team may include part or all of either Echo or Gauntlet teams, as both teams were present on Reach at the time, but this cannot currently be verified.
