This Unidentified Covenant Heavy Weapon is a plasma-based explosive launcher used by the Covenant Empire.[1][2]
Trivia
- This weapon may fill the void for the primary Covenant heavy weapon, with the unknown status of the Type-25 Grenade Launcher and the Type-33 Light Anti-Armor Weapon being included in Halo: Reach.
- The sound file for the weapon was first released in the Bungie Weekly Update 1/29/10, with the title "Mystery Weapon".[3]
- it looks as though this weapon could be based of the spartan laser in design although it looks a lot smoother with some differences
