This Unidentified Covenant Heavy Weapon is a plasma-based explosive launcher used by the Covenant Empire.[1][2]
Trivia
- This new weapon is a variant of the Needler and Carbine. I fires a straight carbine-like shot that explodes after a few seconds after penetration.
- The sound file for the weapon was first released in the Bungie Weekly Update 1/29/10, with the title "Mystery Weapon".[3]
