The MJOLNIR/JFO is a variant of the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor. It was designed and tested at Beweglichkeitsrüstungsysteme in Essen, Germany.
Two uprades are availible for the helmet, the first adds a Hardened Uplink Module-Improved (HUL-I), and the second adds an Up-Armor plate (UA).
The JFO shoulder piece is available as an armor permutation in Halo: Reach for 1000 cR.[1]
JFO stands for Joint Fires Observer, a United States military designation used to refer to poldiers who coordinate fire support such as helicopters, naval gun formations, and if necessary, Army/Airforce/Navy/Marines aircraft.
