MA5 series

The MA5 Series[1] is a weapon series used during the Human-Covenant War. All MA5s are Bullpup-style weapons, with the magazine, bolt, and firing pin located behind the trigger. They are often the bread and butter of the UNSCDF forces.
The MA5 series was preceded by the MA3 Assault Rifle, though it is unknown if any other models were in use between the UNSC's dropping of the MA3[2] and its adoption of the MA5.
The weapon's design is similar to the real life FN F2000, but the cocking handle appears to be influenced by several H&K weapons such as the UMP series, the MP5, and G3.

- ^ The MA37 (MA5 for Marines and Navy) first entered service with the UNSC in 2437, it has remained the primary service rifle of all branches of the UNSC ever since.
