Criterion is a Unified Earth Government colony world in an unknown star system. Sometime in the Human-Covenant War, the Covenant attacked the colony and Orbital Drop Shock Troopers were sent in to defend it. During the battle, Staff Sergeant Malcolm Geffen, Corporal Vasily Beloi, and Emanuel Barakat hijacked a Spirit. In 2553, while selling an MA5B to an arms dealer, Vaz wondered if the Spirit was still there.[1]
