Official news

Halo Infinite's Content Update 32, which features introduction of the The Exchange, several new operations with customization for the Mark IV MJOLNIR, Yoroi, and Mark VII MJOLNIR armor cores, refreshes to the maps featured in several matchmaking playlists, new additions to Forge including alien world and Flood palettes, sandbox rebalancing, and more, released on April 30^th!
Halo: Epitaph, a brand new Halo novel written by Kelly Gay, released on February 27^th! It follows the Ur-Didact after the events of Halo 4 and Halo: Escalation which culminated in his composition at the hands of John-117. What's more is that the official audiobook for Halo: Epitaph will be narrated by Keith Szarabajka, the voice actor for the Ur-Didact!
Halo: Outcasts, a brand new Halo novel written by Troy Denning, was released on August 8^th! It follows Arbiter Thel 'Vadam and Spartan-IV Olympia Vale shortly before the events of Halo Infinite as they search the desolate world of Netherop for an artifact with the potential of loosening Cortana's tyrannical grip on the galaxy!
Digsite, a team composed of 343 Industries employees and community modders, are busy restoring cut content from previous Halo games, such as Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2! An upcoming update to Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC will allow modders to incorporate this restored content into their creations. Read more HERE!

Battle of Harvest

The Battle of Harvest was an engagement in the Human-Covenant War between the United Nations Space Command and the Covenant. It was one of the first major human battles with the Covenant in space, and the return of Admiral Preston Cole to the UNSC Navy.

Following the loss of the colony Harvest to the Covenant in 2525, the UNSC assembled a battle group to retake the planet on March 1, 2526. Led by Vice Admiral Preston Cole, UNSC Battle Group X-Ray engaged an enormous Covenant super-destroyer. Due to superior numbers and Cole's leadership, X-Ray was successful in defeating the Covenant but suffered heavy casualties in the process. At the cost of thirteen human ships, the alien starship was destroyed when its shields were overwhelmed with the largest show of firepower yet in humanity's history.
