Position

Is it possible that skirmisher champions can lead skirmisher lances? I've been trying to figure out as much as I can about Covenant deployment and ranks, and as far as I can tell trying to use Reach to figure it out doesn't really help because they're somewhat randomly deployed, and change depending on the difficulty, so I can't confirm by using the game. Although whether or not they do would be speculation at this point, unless it's been officially declared somewhere that they do or don't.--Raiderdline61 "7777777" 18:54, 30 June 2011 (EDT)

The only example I can think of a large-scale, nearly exclusive Skirmisher deployment is on ONI Sword Base. I would assume the highest ranking skirmisher of this group is the leader (and if there are more than one of the same at the top rank, it is most likely that one is given tactical command, like an "acting captain" in modern navies.) It is also possible they do not have a leader at all, and simply work together, recieving orders from comm systems. Do you mean if Champions themselves can lead? They are the highest rank in the Skirmishers, so I would assume as much they can.
