Another Day at the Beach is a Halo 2 bonus movie clip produced by Bungie Studios.

Introduction

Another Day at the Beach is a bonus clip on the Multiplayer Map Pack expansion CD of Halo 2. It details what happens to the 2nd Pelican after being shot down by the Scarab in the cinematic before the level Outskirts while SPARTAN-117 engages the Covenant at the first Pelican's crash site.

The second Pelican, that is shot down in the first cutscene of Outskirts, flies over Hotel Zanzibar and is spotted by a Minor Elite. O'Brian and the pilot are killed the crash, Sergeant Stacker tells the ODSTs to take their tags and ammo.

The Elite sends in two Minor Grunts and a Jackal Sniper to engage them, the sniper nearly hits Butkis. Jones, the squad's sniper, easily takes him out. The Jackal's body lands next to the Grunts, scaring them back to their previous location. The first Grunt gets by the Elite, however he manages to grab the second one by the neck, hen throws him aside. He then activates his Active Camouflage and walks towards the ODSTs.

The Elite takes out his Energy Sword and slashes at Butkis, who falls and and grabs a Plasma Pistol. He then throws a Plasma Grenade at Stacker's helmet, Stacker takes the helmet off and throws it, the helmet explodes next to the Elite, deactivating his Active Camouflage. Quickly afterwards he jumps at Jones and uses him as a hostage, with his Energy Sword at his throat. Jones tells the ODSTs to take him out. Butkis fires an overcharged Plasma Pistol and takes out his shields, Stacker finishes him off with his Battle Rifle. The Elite falls and drops his Energy Sword, causing the failsafe to activate, rendering it useless.

Cortana contacts Stacker and tells him to find a safe spot, they'll come to him.

Trivia

The names of the ODSTs are the names of several of the animators at Bungie Studios.
The Elite depicted in the video wears the armor of a regular Minor Elite, but uses Active Camouflage and wields an Energy Sword.The equipment usually held by Elites of much higher rank, such as SpecOps Elites or Stealth Elites.
The marines did a form of the "Newb Combo" on the elite.
Sergeant Pete Stacker has ODST Body Suit in the video, but when you reach to Hotel Zanzibar in level Outskirts, he has another uniform.

He sends in two [[Grunts]] to engage them and a [[Jackal]] sniper up into the buildings to snipe from there. As a one of the ODST([[Butkis]]) turn around a corner of a rock, the jackal sniper tried to shoot him, but missed. Then, Butkis told Jones the location of the sniper. Jones then killed it without hesitation. The jackal's corspe drops down from the building and landed right next to the Grunts, scaring them. They ran  towards the Spec-ops Elite. The first grunt run past him, but the Elite picked up the 2nd Grunt by the throat and thrown to the ground. Annoyed with having a dead sniper and scared Grunts, the Elite wields his [[Energy Sword]]and engages his [[Active Camouflage]]. The Elite slashes Butkis out of a sudden. He falls and picks up a [[Plasma Pistol]]. He begins charging it. The elite, then sticked a [[plasma grenade]] onto Stacker's helmet. He removes it and throws it in the air. It explodes next to the unsuspecting Elite, causing his active camouflage to fail. The Elite then jumps at  [[Jones]] and used him as hostage, with the sword over the throat. Jones,in deep pain, then said,"take him,guys." Then, Butkis fired his [[overcharge]] shot on the elite's head. It hit, and took out his shelds. Stacker then finishes the elite by giving him a burst of headshots with his [[battle rifle]]. Then Crotana, askes them are they alright and calls them to stay put as the Master chief will reach them soon.
