Template:Ratings The Highland Mountains are a large group of mountain ranges on the northern continents of the UNSC's colony planet Reach. The Highland mountains are home to many facilities used by HIGHCOM, including Camp Hathcock, Camp Independence, and ONI's CASTLE Base under Menachite Mountain. After the Battle of Reach, these mountains were the only area not glassed by the Covenant.
Other areas of the Highland Mountains include Longhorn Valley, where ODG Facility A-331 was located, and the Big Horn River.
Wild blueberry bushes [1] and cedar trees [2] grew in the mountains, especially the Military Wilderness Training Preserve.
