Before leaving her there as backup and with instructions to shoot if the Covenant showed up again, he placed a hand on her shoulder and gave her encouragement. He had advised her that Locusts had weak defenses and could be taken down by concentrated fire at their small generator lights. After taking his leave he went to take up his position at a key spot just like Dorian, Evie, and victor, the four of them now armed with Covenant weapons. Whatever happened, they planned to rendezvous at an abandoned house (number fifty-seven) on [[Rue Cascade]].
