The map is set in the [[Office of Naval Intelligence]]'s [[SWORD Base]], situated along the [[Babd Catha Ice Shelf]] of the [[Eposz]] super-continent on the [[Human]] [[Inner Colonies|Inner]] [[Human colonies|Colony]] [[world]] of [[Reach]]. The base was attacked by the [[Covenant]] early in the [[Fall of Reach]],{{Ref/Level|HR|[[ONI: Sword Base]]}} and was destroyed somewhat during [[Operation]]: [[Operation: WHITE GLOVE|WHITE GLOVE]] much later.{{Ref/Level|HR|[[The Package]]}}
