The Cygnus System is a Human-controlled system in the Outer Colonies that has not been affected by the Insurrection. [1]

Within its system are two Human colonized worlds, one of which is New Jerusalem, the possible birthplace of Jilan al-Cygni. [2] The other human colony is Cygnus, Chyler Silva's birthplace.[3]

Cygnus may be part of the Cygnus constellation.
